In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, cornstarch, and chicken broth. Set aside.
Heat 1 tbsp oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken strips and cook until browned, about 4-5 minutes. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
In the same skillet, add a little more oil if needed. Add garlic and sauté for 30 seconds.
Add broccoli and bell peppers to the skillet. Cook for 5-6 minutes, until vegetables are tender-crisp.
Return chicken to the skillet. Pour the sauce mixture over the chicken and vegetables. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
Serve hot with rice or noodles as a side dish.
