Spicy Duck and Bacon Rice Bowl

    pepper

    tablespoon

    garlic

    powder

    tablespoon

    onion

    powder

  • Salt

    and

    pepper

    to

    taste

  • 2

    cups

    water

  • 1

    tablespoon

    olive

    oil

Cooking steps

  • Preheat oven to 375°F.

  • In a bowl, mix chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper. Rub this mixture onto the duck breasts.

  • Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat. Sear duck breasts skin side down for 3-4 minutes until crispy. Flip and sear the other side for another 2-3 minutes. Remove from pan and let it rest.

  • In the same pan, cook bacon until crispy. Remove and chop into small pieces.

  • In the same pan, brown ground pork until cooked through. Set aside.

  • In a pot, bring water to a boil. Add brown rice and cook according to package instructions.

  • Slice duck breasts and assemble the bowl with brown rice, bacon, ground pork, and sliced duck. Drizzle with any remaining pan juices.

  • Serve hot and enjoy!
