Rinse the lentils thoroughly under running water.

Pour in the can of diced tomatoes. Stir well.
Add cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper to the pan. Mix all ingredients together.

Once the lentils are cooked, drain any excess water if necessary.
Add the lentils to the tomato mixture. Stir well to combine.
Allow the stew to simmer for an additional 5 minutes to let the flavors meld together.
