Cooking steps

  • Heat vegetable oil in a large pan over medium heat.

  • Add tofu cubes and fry until golden brown on all sides. Remove tofu from the pan and set aside.

  • In the same pan, add more oil if needed and sauté onions, bell pepper, and mushrooms until vegetables are tender.

  • Add ginger, garlic, cumin powder, and coriander powder to the pan and mix well.

  • Return tofu to the pan and stir in soy sauce. Cook for a few more minutes until tofu is heated through.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Serve the tofu and vegetable stir-fry over cooked rice.
