Cooking steps

  • In a large skillet, brown the ground turkey over medium heat until cooked through. Remove from skillet and set aside.

  • In the same skillet, sauté the onion, garlic, and ginger until fragrant, about 2 minutes.

  • Add the carrots and spices (turmeric, cumin, coriander, cinnamon, paprika) and cook for another 2 minutes.

  • Stir in the chickpeas, chicken broth, and coconut milk. Bring to a simmer.

  • Add the cooked ground turkey back to the skillet and simmer for 10 minutes, until the sauce thickens.

  • Season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Serve the Indian Turkey Curry over rice and garnish with fresh cilantro.
